Half a day excursion “ETNA NORD” – Itinerary A;
Departure from the hotel or from the meeting point, moving through highway towards Etna Nord, passing through some Etnei villages. The excursion goes on with the excursion of several naturalistic sites like the lowest lava front from the last great eruption, lava flow caves, old and new lava flows, extinguished craters and very suggestive naturalistic sites, reachable just in off-road or trekking. During the roundtrip visit of a winery where it’s possible to taste several wines.

Half a day excursion “ZAFFERANA, CASSONE – ETNA SUD, 2002 ERUPTION” – Itinerary B;
Departure from the hotel or from the meeting point, moving through highway towards Cassone passing through Zafferana, moving in off-road, stop to visit amazing lava flows inside the Bove Valley, and visit of a lava-flow cave. Following, moving to the lava front nearby RifugioSapienza. Roundtrip back to the hotel.

One day excursion “ETNA NORD” – Itinerary C = (a+c);
Same path as the Itinerary A, visiting several naturalistic sites, with the possibility to make a stop in a refuge. Lunch could be in a restaurant in the mountain or in a winery. In the afternoon, during the roundtrip, it’s possible to visit other interesting naturalistic sites.

FOR GROUPS OR INCENTIVES IT’S POSSIBLE TO CLIMB UP TO THE NEW ERUPTIVE OPENINGS ON A HEIGHT OF 2150 mt (above sea level) IN TREKKING; OR TO SUMMIT HEIGHTS OF 2900 mt (above sea level) WITH 4X4 BUSSES.

One day excursion “ERUPTION OF 1928” – Itinerary D;
Departure from the hotel or from the meeting point, moving through highway towards Mascali, a village that was destroyed by the lava flow of 1928. Stop in the main square, rebuilt during the fascism and explanation of the event, with the possibility to see some of the old pictures that show the destruction of the village in four days. From here, we will pass through the only village that was rescued from the eruption, and through different paths and trails restored on the lava flow. We will reach a lava stone-extracting mine, where is possible to admire the contrast between the burnt soil and the lava stone. The excursion goes on until the crater’s openings, where is possible to admire both the eruptive chasm, and the amazing landscape on the ionic coast.

The itinerary can go on with a trekking session into the chestnut or oak woods, or it could be possible to go in a restaurant or a winery for lunch, passing through the last great lava front of 2002. In the afternoon during the roundtrip back to the hotel, it’s possible to visit the millenary “Chestnut of cento cavalli”.

One day excursion “RANDAZZO AND ITS SURROUNDING” – Itinerary E; Departure from the hotel or from the meeting point, moving through highway towards a winery for the visit and the tasting of the wines, arrival in Randazzo, a town that conserves its medieval aspect. Touristic tour in the city center and continuation in off-road up to Mount Colla (Nebrodi’s park); Lunch in a historical house. In the afrnoon during the roundtrip, visit of a Byzantine Cuba in Verzella. 20 Km in off-road.
